For more experienced rafters, we offer the Naranjo River as a half-day option during the months of May through December, in a constant adrenaline rush with Class III and IV rapids and of course a wild ride.
In this high-octane half-octane adventure, the journey begins when the Naranjo River descends abruptly from the mountains of Costa Rica and travels through the pristine jungle gorges, then meanders around rocky curves to take you on a wild and adventurous journey to the waters of the sea level. While your bilingual guides and security kayakers with international training work with you to navigate this exciting river, you will pass through (rapidly) impressive farmland, working cattle ranches and beautiful African palm plantations. Unlike the Savegre River adventure, the Naranjo Rafting Trip River gathers all its blows on a 7 mile trip that keeps its adrenaline level high for several hours. Water levels can increase rapidly, especially during the rainy season (May-October), which definitely increases the level of difficulty for any experienced beam. After an adrenaline rush, enjoy snacks and local refreshments before returning to reality.
